CHAMI > AZOUGI

Stage 7 -  january  6th 2015

SS : 433 km - Total : 433 km

STAGE: CHAMI / AMSAGA: 433 km

This stage is the longest of the AFRICA ECO RACE® 2015. it will drive the rally’s caravan up north to Azougui, a pretty village at the bottom of a huge cliff in the heart of the dunes. The start will be fast all the way to the railway line which crossed Mauritius. After this, things will get harder. The track will be hard in the middle of an ocean of sand all the way to CP 3, which is installed in a granite quarry. There are a few more dunes before re-joining a nice small track which will drive the competitors to the foothills of Atar with, at the end of the course, the climb of the Azougui col which is splendid. This is a good day of training for the next day’s generous loop.
